SPP performed some initial specific organizational activities for participation preparation at Black Sea Defence & Aerospace, an international, tri-service defence exhibition, organized yearly in Romania. This exhibition took place 16 – 18 May 2018. More details can be found at: http://bsda.ro/en/
BSDA 2018 is officially supported by the Romanian Government and with the support of the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI) and the Protection and Guard Service (SPP). This event is the only exhibition in Romania Officially Certified by the US Department of Commerce and is organized with the support of the American Embassy in Bucharest through the Commercial Department.
During this event, SPP’s project team will present RED-Alert at its dedicated booth, using personalised goods such as roll-up, brochures, pens, agenda, and mouse-pads.
In regards to the planned participation at GPEC General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference, which took place 20 – 22 February 2018, SPP considered it too early to present some relevant results from the project and plan to participate in the next edition. Also, at this moment SPP hopes to participate at IFSEC 2018, planned for 19 – 21 June 2018. IFSEC International is the only place that brings together stakeholders from every role within security, giving them the platform to witness and showcase innovation and ignite collaboration in order to tackle the world’s most significant challenge. It is still Europe’s largest security event with over 600 exhibitors, 10,000 security solutions and 27,000 global security professionals. More details can be found at: https://www.ifsec.events/international/.
For this event, SPP envisions participating with one representative in order to share ideas, discover best practices and get hands on with the latest security products. If other partners from RED-Alert consortium, especially industrial ones, will be represented there with their own company booth, an SPP representative will join them and will provide his support as LEA representative for dissemination of the RED-Alert project. For this participation, some dissemination goods will be brought to the booth.
